As someone who’s been seen as different my entire life, I know how powerful it is to be seen simply as human. To me, being Prohuman means rejecting the boxes society puts us in and embracing each other’s full humanity—with empathy, curiosity, and compassion leading the way. It’s how we move from division to connection, and from tolerance to true belonging.
Brandon Farbstein is a Gen Z activist and speaker focused on inclusion and empowerment. Born with a rare form of dwarfism, he faced bullying and isolation, which led him to advocate for change. At 18, he championed two Virginia laws—one addressing bullying prevention and another mandating empathy and emotional intelligence education in K-12 schools.He speaks at global conferences, leadership summits, and corporate events, including the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Brandon collaborates with companies like Meta, LVMH, and Marriott and advises Fortune 100 organizations. He is the author of Ten Feet Tall and A Kids Book About Self-Love, providing tools for overcoming limitations. As a Founding Partner of Daniel Lubetzky’s Builders Movement and a board member for multiple organizations, Brandon advocates for the disability community, which represents 15% of the global population. He has been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Voice for disability advocacy and received the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Hero Against Hate award for his work in combating discrimination and promoting empathy. Through his Elevate Empathy® initiative, he continues to focus on advancing belonging and social impact.
